Maria Tolstykh
Maria was born and raised in Russia. Having moved on her own to the United States at the age of 21, she has stepped on a path of personal growth, development, and transformation. She brings all her experiences together in a quest to help leaders, employees, and organizations to transform the way they live and work.
Maria has earned her BA in Psychology from UCLA and MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology from SDSU. After completing her Master’s degree she has worked in a corporate setting helping organizations improve their effectiveness by developing human-centric HR practices. In her last role, she served as a Chief People Officer and was overseeing implementation of programs across all business units.
In her consulting and coaching practice, Maria focuses on creating sustainable workplaces. She sees the future of work as one where organizations co-create with employees, customers, and the larger community. Together they define business strategies and shape work environments that facilitate long-term results, engagement, and mutual contribution. She helps her clients define their paths to a sustainable future.
Maria is particularly passionate about developing the new wave of female leaders. In her programs and coaching, she works with women to help them tap into and realize their full potential. She employs her experience and knowledge from different modalities to help women release personal and societal constructs that prevent them from fully embodying their potential.
Maria finds her own aliveness in dance. In her words, dance in her prayer. She teaches dance workshops to help women connect with the wisdom of their bodies, release shame and trauma, and gain access to inner aliveness, joy, and creativity.
Maria sees a future that is bright. This future is created by brave leaders, like you, who are ready for deep transformation. Leaders who are ready to take action and bring their full selves out into the world.
